Dr. Yin Wang is a Professor at Beijing Normal University, the Principal Investigator at State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, and IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research, and the Director of Multimodal Social Neuroscience (MSN) Lab. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Psychology at the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom) in 2012, and postdoctoral training at New York University and Temple University (United States) from 2013 to 2019. Dr. Wang is interested in human social cognition and behavior (e.g. social perception, imitation, mentalizing, moral cognition, social decision making). His research has been published on prestigious journals such as Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS, Trends in Cognitive Sciences, Neuroimage, and Journal of Neuroscience.
